Professor Edmond Prakash is an Academic, Author, Editor and Researcher. He was appointed Professor in Computer Games Technology in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom. How he is currently visiting our department.

Department of Computer Graphics and Multimedia
Today, the technology of graphics, multimedia and animation has pervaded most of the activities of business, communication and education. Hence the need for capable and experienced players in this field has increased. As the pioneer in computer graphics and multimedia education in Malaysia's public university, we have been continuously answering the need for experts in this field by offering industry-tailored courses ever since our establishment. What we offer is a comprehensive programme that dwells deeply into the world of computer graphics, multimedia, games, animation and virtual reality.
Currently, our student body comprises of more than a hundred undergraduates, and we have produced sixty successful graduates, equipped with creative and unique thinking to model, analyze, and reconstruct computer graphics and multimedia objects and knowledge. This is the solid commitment of our academic team consisting of a combination of experienced and innovative thinking educators, who nurtures and inspires creative and innovative minds.
Keeping with the university?s vision to be a world-class centre of academic and technological excellence, our department is dedicated to teaching, developing and preparing students to be the best-practitioners in the area of computer graphics and multimedia software development. By having diverse resources in terms of expertise, staffs and students, our department is further contributing to the university mission on being a leader in the development of human capital and innovative technologies that will contribute to the nation's wealth creation.
